An award-winning Nepalese and Indian restaurant based in Redhill is expanding into Haywards Heath. Rice & Spice in The Broadway is currently closed for soft refurbishment and has been taken over by Everest Spice which is rated third out of 2,638 restaurants in Surrey on Trip Advisor.
A new charity shop has opened in South Road. The Scope shop was opened on Friday by Mayor Sandy Ellis.
The new Scope shop is opposite St Catherine's Hospice shop which recently relocated from The Broadway and is now next to Cancer Research UK. It now makes eight charity shops in the short stretch between Victoria Park and Barclays Bank, all crying out for donations. On the other hand, that part of town is also notable for the plethora of estate agents, so there may be a business strategy involved.
