Business owners and potential young entrepreneurs in Haywards Heath both have major opportunities over the next two weeks.
The Haywards Heath Business Conference is this Friday with the theme "the Future of Business".
The half day conference consists of four sessions aimed at business opportunities, four at sales and marketing and two keynote speeches. Topics include: exporting, strategic planning, managing people, disaster recovery, essential marketing elements, building marketing into everyday activities, calculating marketing budgets, blending traditional and technology marketing techniques, and current business opportunities.
In the lead up to the conference, HHDBA warned that businesses face a tsunami of change and business owners need to look forward and adapt in the face of growing competition abroad and a 15% increase in the number of self-employed since the beginning of the recession.
HHDBA members can still get tickets for the conference for £25 and non-members £35. Registration begins at 8:30am at Clair Hall. Further details can be found on the HHDBA website.
And on Saturday 15 March ten Young Enterprise companies will be selling their wares and ideas in the Orchards Shopping Centre. Seven of the companies are from Warden Park Academy. The ideas and products include touchscreen device accessories, ornaments and desk decorations, confectionery, jewellery and gifts, and children’s story books.
There are a number of business networking and support groups in Haywards Heath and there are currently around 2,500 active companies with Haywards Heath stated as their registered office address at Companies House.
